California Theater, Pittsburg, CA - Art Deco mural documentation for later reproduction

It was decided that the original, failing lath and plaster were to be removed, and the two auditorium murals, mirroring each other, were to be recreated on canvas to be installed like wall paper. Both murals were traced on clear mylar, measurements, and colors were documented. Brighter colors were found under the discolored varnish of the figures.
